Origin Story
Welcome to ZPI Painting
We are very excited to announce Zofkie’s Painting, Inc.’s evolution into a national presence, known as ZPI, LLC. Almost 25 years ago Zofkie’s Painting, Inc. started as a one-man shop that focused on residential re-paints and quickly grew into one of Chicagoland’s leading commercial painting contractors. Our clients have entrusted us with some of the most intense and meticulous projects, locally and nationwide. Our standard of quality combined with our affordable pricing makes us the obvious choice, however, continually hitting deadlines is the key to our success! Bringing the same integrity to our projects regardless of the size or cost is what earned us the reputation of being the only acceptable contractor to paint a remodel at the Chicago Museum of Art.
Over the 25 years we have tracked every step of the way which has provided the foundation for our proprietary training programs. Our training programs are not only for field employees, but for management and owners as well. The training is based on 25 years of successfully hitting deadlines and helping our clients stand out. We call our training 5 Star Programs. One 5 Star Program can take a painter with little to no experience to a Foreman. Our other 5 Star Program can take an employee from an Assistant Project Manager to an Owner.
With Chicago still going strong, we replicated the system in Tampa over 3 years ago and it has been running smooth since. The recent addition of Dallas gives us three different markets up and running providing a strong foundation for future growth. We believe (Lord willing) by 2032, we will have 10 markets operating while continuing to provide the same quality to our clients. The construction industry has provided many challenges for all of us in the trades, however, these challenges have helped us to define systems to continue to hit the deadline with a standard of quality you can count on. As the industry continues to change, we will continue to be in front of obstacles and create opportunities for us to grow and be an integral part of our client’s success. We want to thank all our staff and clients who have helped us along the way and look forward to working with all of our new clients, as well. Wishing you all fulfillment and a great year!
